The Community Analytics Business Development Manager is responsible for sourcing and nurturing partnerships through the entire sales process and managing other sales reps to high performing outcomes. This individual will thrive in a player-coach role.

CA deals are complex, relationship-based deals with long time horizons and multifaceted deliverables. These partnerships are large, enterprise level deals and thus require deep strategic thinking and depth of sales experience.

The individual for this role must be keenly adept at building & maintaining relationships that keep a deal process healthy throughout its lifecycle, getting the most out of their sales teams, and understanding blockchain technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a player

  • Own the early and middle stages of the sales process, with a strong instinct for closing
  • Conduct discovery, scoping and strategy calls with prospective clients
  • Build strong relationships that endure and enable deal progression
  • Effectively navigate the sales cycle to unlock & progress deals
  • Conduct effective presentations and demonstrations to showcase our data analytics solutions
  • Run effective scoping sessions to progress deals and deepen belief in our solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication and engagement.

As a coach

  • Manage team members to outcomes, building their skills & improving their execution
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Utilize deep market research and networking to support the team in generating leads and create a robust sales pipeline
  • Lead the team in analyzing market trends and customer needs to tailor the sales approach effectively
  • Identify and target potential customers across the industry
  • Create robust sales materials including decks and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in B2B strategic sales, preferably in the blockchain or data analytics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value partnerships, with a multi-million dollar deal structures
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
